The location is very convenient, right in the heart of things.
The room looked quite tired. The furniture had visible stains, and the blinds had to stay down. This made the room dark, which wasn't ideal. Net curtains could have helped. the tea tray only had two tea bags and one coffee sachet..

the location is excellent. i found the staff lovely and helpful when i needed them. the breakfast offered a nice variety of items. white tablecloths and real napkins were on the tables.
the hotel was tired inside and not particularly well kept.

i ate in the restaurant, and the food was excellent. there was a good selection of food at the breakfast buffet, and the staff were attentive. the lovely dining room features wonderful proportions, picture rails, and chandeliers.

the suite was spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. the bathroom was lovely with ample bath towels. my room had views of the opera house. the room was clean and recently refurbished.

i was kinda surprised by the helpful staff. the front desk helped me with directions and local information. i found the standard double room clean and the bed very comfy. the view across the gardens was very nice.
